Cycling Holidays in France

From Sanctuary to Summit
If you’re ready to take your cycling to the next level, our French training holiday is the perfect challenge. Based in Lourdes, this trip puts you at the foot of some of the most legendary climbs in Europe. These are the same roads used by Tour de France and La Vuelta a España teams for their high-altitude training and now it’s your turn to experience them.
This is more than just a cycling holiday – it’s a chance to test your fitness, refine your technique and ride through scenery that will leave you speechless. With expert coaching from elitecycling founder Paul Mill, you’ll gain real-time feedback and structured training on the road, helping you ride smarter and stronger each day.
Throughout the week, we’ll tackle iconic Pyrenean climbs including:
-
Col du Tourmalet – France’s most famous mountain pass and a rite of passage for serious cyclists
-
Hautacam – a steep test with stunning views at the top
-
Luz Ardiden – known for its sweeping switchbacks and regular Tour appearances
-
Col d’Aubisque – a breathtaking climb often featured in mountain stages
-
Cirque de Gavarnie – a scenic route into one of the most dramatic natural landscapes in the region
